What Premium is built for
Premium is the top of the Siddiqsons denim range: long-staple cotton, ring-spun in both directions, rope-dyed to a depth of indigo that shorter-staple constructions cannot hold.
What the fibre buys
Longer staple means fewer protruding fibre ends, which means a cleaner surface, a stronger yarn at the same count and a fade that resolves cleanly rather than muddying. Slub and neppy warps are available where the programme wants visible character.
Where it is used
Premium jeanswear, selvedge-style programmes and designer collections where fabric hand is part of the price.
